Hey all! We just returned from the NCFCA Region V Under The Dome Tournament in Topeka, Kansas.
And once again, as I learned of God’s infinite sovereignty and provision, I was humbled, inspired, encouraged, and uplifted by the many events that took place and friendships God provided during the course of the tournament.
here are just a few things i learned at this tournament:
1. Region V is small. VERY VERY small compared to Region IV. But I learned that the size does not take away from the fact that these are NCFCA peoples, and NCFCA peoples… are cool.
2. I am surrounded by INSANELY encouraging people, who pray for me, and encourage me. I learned that without these prayers, and words of encouragement, my times at tournaments would be far less awesome-r.
I learned to be grateful for those God has placed in my life to encourage me. Thank you, God!
3. Sleeping with mountain dew in my system is virtually and practically impossible. I will never be attempting this again.
4. Pizza is the BEST tournament food.
5. Eating helps, but just because it helps doesn’t mean I’ll be able to eat before rounds I’m nervous about.
6. Eating is much easier after said difficult rounds.
7. My club rocketh.
8. Region V peoples are very friendly. I thank God for them.
9. My TP partner is the awesomest partner in the NCFCA. I wouldn’t trade her for the WORLD. (and yes, i MEAN that…)
10. I am the luckiest DUO participant EVER. Having my brother as a fellow actor has been an honor, privilege and outright AMAZING experience for which i could never thank him enough.
11. I miss my debate club in Austin.
12. TOURNAMENTS ARE THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!
13. God IS with me. And HE is good… all the time.
