Hello, World!

This blog is going to be my “online journal” of sorts. This is where I’ll post daily happenings, and Biblical revelations I feel I need to share, but are not developed enought to “make it” on my other blog. (facetwoface.wordpress.com)

Thank you for reading!

I pray my story will be inspiring, convicting, and entertaining.

To “break the ice” I will post about yesterday. So I’ve been going through definitely the hardest time of  my life, over the last few weeks. God had been convicting me in a certain area of my life, and it came to a head when I was reading a passage from Matthew 18:8,9.

“Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast [them] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast [it] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.”

God “took me by the shirt collar” with this verse, and since then, my life has been changing. I know it is for the better, but it’s getting harder every day. Prayer is much appreciated!

For anyone that doesn’t know, I work at a fast-food place. And if you didn’t know that, you probably didn’t know that I witness to my co-workers there… a lot. But, until yesterday, I never really got much of a chance to actually share the entire Gospel un-interrupted… That’s right, yesterday, a co-worker who’s been asking me theological questions “in order to find inconsistencies with the theory of Christianity” (as he puts it), finally asked the one I’d been hoping for for the last 4 months since I started work.

“So, how do you recieve salvation?”

*smile*

So I shared everything. Somehow, God brought at least 10 Bible verses to mind. I kept my speech clear, and seasoned with salt… while speaking the truth in love. It was the most amazing thing I’ve seen God do through me in a very very long time. There were other people (at least who turned to listen, so I kept it nice and loud.

After I finished, the store was silent for 5 minutes (at least), until we started getting busy again. No-one converted right there, but, it’s up to God. All I am worried about is getting the Truth to them. It was a good night.

On a less spiritual note, I had my first “performance review” yesterday, and was recommended for 3 different raises. (supposedly the most in the store’s 20 year history) it made me very happy. Thank you, God!
